Brittany Holbrook (she/her) is the Executive Support Associate at Accelerating Appalachia. She is passionate about providing operational expertise, thorough project management, and strategic thought partnership to ensure team efficiency and longevity.
Brittany started her career with an education nonprofit working to expand opportunities for Appalachian communities through grassroots fundraising and grant writing. In her first year she quadrupled the organization’s grassroots funding and secured the single largest new investment of that fiscal year, all of which was funneled right back into rural Appalachia. While still pursuing a career in the education sector, Brittany stays invested in organizations committed to doing meaningful work in rural communities, like Accelerating Appalachia. Here she supports team and executive operations to ensure vision-alignment and cohesion throughout the Building Soil, Building Equity project.
